What kind of magic do you perform?
I specialize in modern, close-up sleight-of-hand magic. Think elegant, interactive, and impossible rather than top hats and rabbits. It’s the kind of magic that happens right in front of your guests, and sometimes right in their hands, creating genuine moments of astonishment and real reactions.
Depending on your event, I can perform as a roaming walkaround magician during cocktail hours and receptions, typically for 60 to 120 minutes, or as a focused 30 to 45 minute stand-up parlour show for a seated audience. Most events use a combination of both.
How long is your show?
It depends on your event and format. For walkaround magic I typically perform for 60 to 120 minutes, moving through the crowd and performing for small groups. For stand-up parlour shows I perform a focused 30 to 45 minute set for a seated audience. Most events combine both formats, and I’m happy to work with you to figure out what makes the most sense for your day.
What types of events do you perform at?
I perform at a wide range of events including weddings and receptions, corporate events and client mixers, private parties and milestone birthdays, festivals and community events, holiday parties, and family gatherings and company family days.
I also offer emcee services for galas, fundraisers, and awards nights.

Is your magic appropriate for corporate or professional settings?
Absolutely. My material is clean, intelligent, and highly interactive, perfect for audiences in business, tech, finance, healthcare, hospitality, and beyond. I tailor every performance to suit your team, your brand, and your event goals.
Can you entertain a mixed-age crowd?
Yes. My all ages show is designed for events that include both adults and children. It’s smart, visual, and interactive, and keeps everyone engaged without ever talking down to anyone. Perfect for community events, festivals, family reunions, and holiday parties.
Do you perform at kids’ parties?
I don’t perform at shows that are primarily for children, but I’m happy to perform at family events where kids are part of a mixed age crowd. If you’re looking for a children’s entertainer, I’m happy to refer you to someone who specializes in that.
What do you need to perform?
Very little. For walkaround magic I just need guests and a bit of space to move around. For stand-up shows I may need a small performance area and clear sightlines. If I’m acting as your emcee I’ll coordinate with your AV team or venue to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Do you perform outdoors?
Yes. I regularly perform at outdoor events including Calgary Stampede breakfasts, community festivals, and backyard gatherings. Outdoor performances work best in shaded areas or covered spaces, and I’ll always flag any weather or lighting concerns ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.
Can you incorporate our company or event theme into your performance?
Yes, to a degree. While the core of what I do is sleight-of-hand magic, I can tailor my presentation, patter, and in some cases specific effects to align with your brand, theme, or message. If you have something specific in mind, mention it in your inquiry and we can talk through what’s possible.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for popular dates like December weekends, Calgary Stampede week, wedding season, and long weekends. That said, if you’re planning something last minute, reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I’m based in Calgary and regularly perform throughout Alberta and Western Canada. Travel beyond Calgary is available and may include an additional fee depending on the distance and event logistics.
How much does it cost?
Rates vary depending on the type of event, duration, travel, and customization. Fill out the booking inquiry form with a few details about your event and I’ll respond with a quote within 24 hours.
